My copy of this has a huge stamp on the rear AUDITION COPY, does this make it a promo or is it something given out to prospective musicians ? anyone know about this ? -

Tremendous work from Mr. Patton and crew. Polarizing though. Not the usual B3 jams you might expect. Alexander's playing takes this into free jazz territory at times, which alienates some listeners. -
Edited 2 years agoGreat pressing of a cool late ‘60s session, with John Patton, Harold Alexander (!) and Hugh Walker. My copy is very silent, with a warm, fat and defined sound.
If you find a nice copy for a fair price, buy it, you will not be disappointed.
