Mats Lindfors

Swedish mastering engineer, producer and engineer, called "Limpan", born 1957, died. March 19 2017.

Mats Lindfors started his musical carrier as a musician, playing with acts like John Norum and Mats Ronander. During the 90s he worked as a recording and mix engineer at the famous studios Stockholm Recording, Park Studios and Little Big Room with acts like Grymlings, Sanne Salomonsen and Mikael Rickfors, just to name a few.
In 2004 he started working at Cutting Room as a Mastering engineer and his legacy includes artists like Scorpions, Candlemass, Mando Diao, Petter, Roxette, Jill Johnson, Linda Pira, Miriam Bryant, Nääk, Nico & Vinz, Meshuggah, Veronica Maggio and many many more. He became Senior Mastering Engineer at Cutting Room.
