Nivek Ogre adopted his pseudonym, since he shared the same first and last names as fellow bandmates Kevin Crompton (cEvin Key) and Dave Ogilvie (no relation).
Written backwards, this is Ergo Kevin.
"Ergo" is Latin for "therefore".
