    I suspect that it's similar to Doxy, another label with questionable past, but on the other hand, puts out excellent albums. Doxy to me, overall, are better with their editions, but Jeanne Dielman is a very good label. I suspect, although they are technically bootleggers, they release music when the copyright is between takers. Most, if not all, are limited edition releases. And yeah, I have to imagine that their source of the music is the CD medium.
