goma gringa [gˈɔ̃.mɐ gɾˈĩ.gɐ ] n.f. São Paulo-based independent record label and online record store which aims to promote contemporary Brazilian artists and forgotten music from the past.

"Perceive, understand and describe the world through music. Defend and spread the culture in its most relevant particularities; diversity and human richness."
It was in 2013 that, following this motto, Goma Gringa was conceived and created by Frederic Thiphagne and Matthieu Hebrard.

The musical tastes in common, the connections with international record labels of one and the connections with São Paulo's musicians of the other defined the record label editorial lines; the African music from the 70's and the contemporary Brazilian independent musical scene.
