This release is an anthology of all the six BBC sessions made by Queen between 1973 and 1977 and aired in "Sound Of The Seventies" radio programme:
- "My Fairy King", "Keep Yourself Alive", "Doing All Right" and "Liar" were recorded at BBC's Langham 1 Studio in London on 5 February 1973 (aired on 15 February 1973);
- "See What A Fool I've Been", "Keep Yourself Alive", "Liar" and "Son And Daughter" were recorded at BBC's Langham 1 Studio in London on 25 July 1973 (aired on 13 August and 24 September 1973);
- "Ogre Battle", "Modern Times Rock 'n' Roll", "Great King Rat" and "Son And Daughter" were recorded at BBC's Langham 1 Studio in London on 3 December 1973 (aired on 6 December 1973);
- "Modern Times Rock 'n' Roll", "Nevermore" and "White Queen" were recorded at BBC's Langham 1 Studio in London on 3 April 1974 (aired on 15 April 1974);
- "Now I'm Here", "Stone Cold Crazy", "Flick Of The Wrist" and "Tenement Funster" were recorded at BBC's Maida Vale Studio 4 in London on 16 October 1974 (aired on 4 November 1974);
- "We Will Rock You", "We Will Rock You (Fast)", "Spread Your Wings", "It's Late" and "My Melancholy Blues" were recorded at BBC's Maida Vale Studio 4 in London on 28 October 1977 (aired on 14 November 1977).

Very nice set, sound, and packaging are great. If you are a good record collector, will probably store the records and the inner sleeves outside the trifold cover due to the tight fit. I put mine outside to prevent any possible damage to the package. -

A very nice set and it's a great package but the sleeve is a little too tight and it's hard to get the inners in and out! -

My pressing sounds fantasticāvery few clicks and pops, and the mastering is top notch as well.
Only downside is the packaging, which is so tight that the LP liners barely fit in the jacket, especially disc 2, which is the middle one. -
Brilliantly flawed. The radio sessions are fantastic with some great versions of some of my favourite Queen songs. White Queen and Spread Your Wings are particularly fine. Weāre also finally given the fast version of We Will Rock You. I suspect it has previously appeared as a B side but it belonged on its own album with its fellow session tracks.
The live stuff. Hmm. Itās not essential. Especially now weāve got the Rainbow concert. Iām not complaining- itās always good to get some old Queen live music, but the Magic show tracks are a bit too familiar now, and the ones from 1981 are great - thereās just not enough of them. I do enjoy the Golders Green show.
Interviews. Do people play those more than once ? I think Iāve listened to them but Iām in no rush to play them again.
Nice little box. The booklet is ok. Got all the details that you need.
Iāll finish by saying itās not a bad release at all. The sublime bits are truly sublime. Itās just the padding.
8/10 but mainly on the strength of the first 2 disks.

Hard to understand the first comments about the pressing quality.
There is almost no surface noise, all three vinyls are in Mint condition.
Sound quality is at its best, besides the sleeves and cover are of top quality.
There is only a small problem. Inner sleeves hardly fit in the cover. That could be wider. -

I must have lucked out compared to the other commentators because my UK/EU pressing is simply gorgeous. Clean, quiet vinyl; rich, dynamic audio... what's not to like? -
