Dead To Me sadly doesn't get any justice with this pressing

Idk what everyone is talking about this sounds great on my stereo system with a 2M red cartridge love how this album sounds and I don’t really notice much noise here and I’m surprised it’s not ridiculously warped like most modern vinyl

ngl with the way the mockup was shown on her site, I genuinely thought that this was going to be a gatefold. I was kinda disappointed when I opened it and it wasn't. There's honestly no difference to this pressing than the standard 2018 one besides the hype sticker.

At least to my ears, the vinyl version of this album sounds fantastic. Very spacey and vivid, captures the original sound very well. But, I will say, on my copy there is a fair amount of surface noise and pops, mostly due to a long scratch that goes across the record (came like that out of the box). Don't know if I need to clean it or if I just got a bad pressing, just sharing my experience.

What’s the difference between this new release and the old one?

This is a pretty good pressing! It’s got some surface noise but it’s not overpowering, and a deep wet clean helped get rid of most of it. Mastering is good for the most part, but you begin to lose some clarity within the low end as you get closer to the center. I found that Your Teeth in My Neck and Dead to Me in particular were a bit lacking in bass, this album could definitely benefit from a 2LP release. Aside from the aforementioned, the rest of this pressing is beautiful and crystal clear, it sounds like Kali is in the room with me.

I absolutely love this pressing! The printed innersleeve is one of the thickest I have ever had so I wouldn't worry about seamsplits there. The record itself is a really pretty color. The disc isn't flimsy but I don't think it quite is 180g. My pressing is soundwise perfect I couldn't hear a single click/pop throughout both sides and this album really does sound better on vinyl. I would recommend everyone who is still debating on getting this release before it goes out of stock again and the prices skyrocket again like before the restock.
