I have this record but on the back of the cover the text print is in several colours, unlike the picture shown here.

Juicy pressing full audio presence, great soundstage and rumbly bass. Love the tri color vinyl.

The intro to the film needs to be included as the drumming wicked and earthy ;)

Vinyl is significantly thicker on one side... Otherwise, boom tunes.

Saw the movie in 1980 and this record has been in my collection since. A must have.

This color pressing is also, at least as of the date of this post (Oct. 2018) is available separately. From 2017.

Rockers is one of the great Jamaican films featuring a killer soundtrack of the hottest Reggae music from the 1970’s golden age.
For starters there’s Junior Murvin’s mighty “Police & Thieves”, simply one of the best songs ever, then we get gorgeous harmonies from The Heptones on “Book of Rules”, Peter Tosh, the “Stepping Razor”, Jacob Millers classic “Tenement Yard” and the massive riddim that is “Fade Away” from the late, great Junior Byles.

Side Two has many more goodies with Bunny Wailer’s funky wah-wah fest that is the title track, Lee Scratch Perry’s gnarly dubbed up “Dread Lion” and my absolute favourite -and a rare treat indeed- Burning Spear’s beautiful acapella version of “Jah No Dead”, accompanied only by birds, insects and the waves on the beach.

Top notch record. A must have for any reggae collector. Picked mine up at Dyno for $20. I recommend song #B3.
