      Picked this pres since cold roses is one of my favorites from Adams and must say I do like this pressing a bit better than my original 2005 press but will keep the original since I collect original pressings when I can. Get both!

        Top production and mastering. A sonic pleasure. Vinyl clean quiet and flat. Inner and outer sleeves solid, love the embossing on the front cover. Very little to complain about here, quality from start to finish.

          Finally found this album to order again and was disappointed to see it isn't the Bellman cut, nor pressed at Pallas. However, I think this GZ pressing is fantastic. Both LPs are pretty much perfectly flat and quiet. Sonically it sounds great too. Can't complain, just happy to own it after it's been out of print for a while now.

            My copy is a US Version, vinyl and sleeve with Europe Version innersleeves, the white ones.
            I'm the first owner and bought the record in Zurich, Switzerland and didn't change the innersleeves.
            Does anyone else have such a hybrid version?

                Watch out for "sellers" trying to sell you the 2017 reissue instead of this 1st pressing....
                This 1st edition has: B0004343-01 LP01A ⓤ etched on matrix/runout.

                  The pressing sounds great. Super clean and clear.

                  I wish the inclusion of "Tonight" was on a 7" instead (so I could easily ignore it). The track is pretty mediocre compared to every single track on Cold Roses. Furthermore, being from an earlier era, it is stylistically so different that it was jarring the first time I gave the record a spin. A sour note to end on for the totality of the album listen and even more acutely concluding Side D. End of rant.

                    This pressing sounds magnificent with my ortofon OM30. No issues whatsoever here. Try adjusting your azimuth to ensure its straight as an arrow
