THIS is how you reissue a record. Every band that has a fan base asking for reissues, do it just like Hum. Spare no expense and do it right the first time.

Edited one year agoThese Earth Analog 45 RPM reissues from Hum are arguably the best these records have ever sounded physically. No effort was skipped. The whole package is solid and the vinyl is defect free. Worth every penny.
-
Sadly these CD reissues are as barebones as a CD release can be. They could at least have issued them in nice digipaks like they did with Inlet. Oh well, at least they sound good.
-
Edited one year agopunchy, dynamic, LOUD. crank this for maximum enjoyment levels. i must say again... BRAVO Matt, Tim, Jeff, posthumously Bryan, and everyone who contributed to this flawless series of reissues

Edited one year agoIt's true, it's as good as they say. Given, I listened to this new release on much better speakers than I used to way back in high school, but details are there that I haven't heard before and all the levels feel just right. Lots of slam, with lovely quiet bits mixed in.

After a little delay in delivering preorders, I’m disappointed that my Side A/B came severely dished. Polyvinyl’s offices are closed til January but I’m hoping they’ll offer to send a replacement.
-
Feeling pretty bad for the folks who bought this earlier in the year. Don’t buy counterfeit pressings!

Hum's entire discography - available in standard black and color variants - just dropped on Polyvinyl. So thrilled for Electra 2000!
