This is really enjoyable , I enjoy every song, and the sound quality does not leave much to be desired at all, also record is completely flat, yes I highly recommend this one

Sounds great! It's deceptively vintage-sounding, but also fulsome. If you like both men's early solo work, this is worth getting.

Ditto on vinyl quality. Grade A, both sides. I give the album 9 stars out of five. (Docked one star for not being long enough!) A fabulous record for two American treasures. Get it!

Such an amazing release! The pressing is perfect in every way: dead silent, flat, and super clean. The dynamics on this release are incredible and you feel like you're right there in the room with Taj, Ry, and Joachim. There's a real earthy, on-the-spot feel to this album and the vinyl truly lets the music breathe (I was listening to the singles on Spotify before the release and hearing them again vinyl is a new, wonderful experience).

I love the packaging and how they modeled it off of the original Folkways release of the Sonny and Brownie album. If you've ever owned or seen those old Folkways records, you'll instantly spot the similarities here. Nonesuch has done an amazing job with this release from the sound to the aesthetics of the jacket/inner. If you're a fan of Ry and Taj, this release will not disappoint—finally together again!
