One of the best of it’s genre, Chief won a ton of awards and deserved them all. This is a very good pressing and is so fun to listen to. The content and track sequencing is a prime example of how to put a record together from beginning to end. This record ranks up there as one of my top 3 in the modern era of country. -
Sound a bit 'muffled', but overall fine copy. I guess these coloured vinyl issues don't have the quality of black vinyl.

Edited 4 years agoMy copy is just not very good. Too many pops and clicks, plus some non-fill that at times repeats each revolution at the beginning and end of both sides. It is listenable, but I can't say I recommend this, just based off my copy. Given another 's glowing review, I actually wood glued mine a second time, just be to extra sure, but it had no effect. I would say this is a below average pressing, at least my copy.

This is easily one of the best country/rock and roll albums of all time. My only disappointment about it is that I wish it was released as a double lp to help take care of the inner groove distortion on "homeboy." With that said, still doesn't take away from how truly amazing this album sounds in the end.
