The Black Keys – Turn Blue

I have a copy without the fold out poster, struggling to find that version on here?

Total missed opportunity to press this on BLUE VINYL. It's probably the only one not done in color.

Pre ordered when first announced. Came with fold out poster and a cd. Criminally underrated, deserves much more love now

When I pulled my brand new copy out of the paper inner sleeve, there was plenty of paper, dust, and debris on the vinyl that most assuredly scratched the vinyl as it travelled from the manufacturing facility, to point of sale, to me.

Luckily, the record plays just fine. That said, a brand new just-unsealed record shouldn’t be scratched before anyone listens to it.

At what point will record manufacturers (or the artist representatives in charge of determining packaging for a record) stop putting records in paper sleeves?

Sadly my pressing of this great album just sounds not so good at all...
Scooped mids, muddy treble, avarage channel seperation and most dissapointing: boomy bass that is untameable.

The CD sounds.... yikes: a lot better

A quintessential 2010’s indie/alternative album with bits of psych, pop, blues. Such a powerful opener on here, and it sounds wonderful on this pressing. You can really hear the danger mouse production throughout and the album is better for it.

Very good sounding and dynamic record. Little bit of surface noise on side B.

Wow... this is something totally different from the typical Black Keys music!
Psychedelic rock, heavily inspired on Pink Floyd.

The recording quality is great.
It's also flat, well centered and low surface noise.
Has quite some depth to the soundstage.
Depending on the cartridge you use, you can get TONS of dynamics out of this record... in addition to that it has a lot of micro details.
It's not just some low-fi record that blasts full volume all the way through.
Because of this, it deserves to be played using a high quality cartridge!
Highly recommended. Reference quality.

Excelent sounding record! Amazing Artwork, quality and dynamic pressing. Definitely one of my two favourite Key's albums, along Attack & Release. Totaly recommended.

I finally picked up a copy of this 22-09-17. The runouts are different and P.USA is not listed in the dead wax and I have black belt levi etched on both sides as well as 39868.1 (3)... and 39868.2 (3)... for the plant identification and it has the barcode etched on both sides. The vinyl was scattered with dirt out of the sleeve. Not sure if my copy is just a repress or new metal parts were used, all of the other items and credits look to be the same as this version, just the runouts are different.
