Die beste LP von Noisia. Die besten Tracks sind " Shaking Hands " und " Stamp Out ".
Für mich einer der besten Arbeiten von Noisia. Dieses Album ist um einiges besser als die " Outer Edges " LP von Noisia.

Fantastic release, generally as per always by the Noisia crew. My favourites on this EP would perhaps be "Running Blind" (Chaotic, very well produced, extremely energetic drum and bass), "Asteroids" for the clever 'groove' of the climax. All the tracks serve their purpose, and after watching (now I do highly recommend this) their Future Music Interview from 2015, you can see how much effort Nik Noisia, puts into the drums and even basslines. They start with something quite simple, sound wise, softclipped/clipped or saturated, usually detuned saws or sometimes other types of sounds that are limited and bounced in libraries that are labelled by month etc. They simply seem to fuck around with lots of Filtering, particularly, i believe, band filtering, sometimes a light phaser at the start of their chain, some times flangers to give the sound some character, and blast it through Multiband distortion in Trash, especially with the Clip Control algorithm. Basically they muck with the sound until it sounds good enough, they are firm beleivers it seems that the sound benefits from plugin chains cleverly built, along with cleverly build patches to work with. This happens to be my favourite releases of theirs in quite some time, and I have heard their music being played at nightclubs here all the way in Australia, for a good reason. It is pure, well produced and crafted Dance music. You can't go wrong with a copy of this in your posession, that's for sure. If you wish, check out some clips from the EP, especially 'Running Blind', which is an aggressive, fast, incredibly powerful Drum and Bass assault on the senses. Really special and well made. I endorse this release whole-heartedly.

I'm pretty much sure that inspiration for "Leopard Slug" was taken from some kind Tarantino's movie. Just listen to those synths alike "old 60's guitar riff" at the end. "Pulp Fiction" on the mind. :)

A solid release from the Dutch boys! Noisia unleash some more filthy drum & bass and it's refreshing to see a 4 piece vinyl set again! Not only that but with amazing artwork to match makes this a must have for fans.
Each tune holds it's own but my fav would be the 'Bad Company' inspired 'Running Blind' with its ripping breaks and sick reece bassline & the epic sounding collab with 'Evol Intent' which just slams the floor from all directions.

                Amazing stuff 9/10
