This disc frustrates me. The mixing on most of the tracks on this disc have 2Pac’s voice mixed lower than the beats, so it’s almost impossible to hear what he’s saying. This wounds the experience of the record because if you took Pac’s raps out of it, you get some merely average early 90s West Coast production. On the other hand, certain tracks like Keep Ya Head Up were mixed so loud that I had to get up and turn it down. Did they pull different tracks from different sources? When you can hear 2Pac’s raps, this record easily increases from a 3 to a 4, but as it stands, I’ll keep it at a 3.

Don’t know about the comments below but my pressing sounds fine. It’s not a bootleg. Sure the cover isn’t the highest resolution but it’s a cd cover from 1993 stretches for 12” and the original production was always “muddy”. Only complaint is the records do warp as they’re original sub 180g
