This massive iconic tune has been remixed more times than one can count now, this new set bring nothing to the table... these two remixers hang on the coattail of one of the most impressive electronic music pieces ever conceived.
What have they done with it? nothing creative, nothing thoughtful, nothing extraordinary.
Frankly, these will be forgotten as fast as they were released.

Just rediscovered the Holy Garage Darkroom Mix, 25 years later and it still sounds superb. Timeless remix, worth buying the 12" for this version alone.

Odyssey To Anyoona.. The voices, the speed, the change, the strings, the soft breakbeat, taking its time to build up. I don't know if it ever was dancefloor compatible, but it still feels good to the ears and go ahead and imagine those sun downs near a beach

Die Kraft Der Vier Herzen - The Power of Four Hearts is one of their best tracks and under appreciated.

Sadly Markus Löffel died of a heart attack nearly 10 years ago but I will never forget their timeless music for the ages .

it's all about "find me". perfect trance-pop combination from the first part of 90's. such a great track with atmosphere. also video looks good. classic for 90's headz.

FIND ME is Jam & Spoon's second hit with Plavka, and though it's a perfectly competent piece of uplifting club craft, it doesn't have the immediacy of RIGHT IN THE NIGHT. The flamenco guitars appear again, though with diminishing returns, unfortunately. The original "Odyssey to Anyoona" also appears here, but since it's also featured on their album, that's not much added value. Better, though, on the b-sides, "Die Kraft Der Vier Herzen" is pretty standard trance, though it has a melodic blast halfway through that's somewhat a trademark of Jam & Spoon productions. "The Tribe" has a solid chug with some tribal chanting that seems custom-made for the peak-time floor. Good overall.

Odyssey To Anyoona takes me back to a time at cream at the nation liverpool, this tune got plays from oakenfold to pete tong it was massive..

Jam & spoon really showed their studio talent with this record.

the cow bells and the build up just go on for ever. until it finally breaks and then a mellow feeling comes across you..
with an angelic voice singing 'heaven' knows what.

Jam & Spoon have a very contrasted history: on one hand they were among the pioneers of trance with Stella and their remix of Age of Love... but later on they've signed up singer Plavka and started making pretty commercial tracks that ed on daytime radio... Well on this EP both origins show: Find Me would be a great track if it wasn't for the singing on top... but B2 Odyssey to Anyoona is just that: an extended instrumental version of A1 and it's GREAT!! Almost 10 minutes of pure bliss, but also a SAD track, actually the bassline and general feel of the track is very similar to another early trance classic: Humate - Love Simulation. Ah those were the days ;)

Die Kraft Der Vier Herzen and The Tribe are nice instrumental tracks... but not classics...
