Edited 4 years agoFirstly, the music here is a masterpiece, Rosalia is in total control of her remarkable vocal instrument, starkly presented with only flamenco guitar backing, she shines. The 2018 Spanish vinyl repress is made by GZ Media. I can't speak to the original pressing but the GZ although at least flat and with only slight crackles is sourced from digital files and is veiled compared to the CD. The CD reveals more details of the music than the vinyl. Subtle gritty vibrations of the strummed guitar strings and the complex harmonic modulations of her voice are clear on the CD and inaudible on the GZ vinyls. I took advantage of Amazon and bought both formats to compare. The vinyl is being returned!
