Great release, great pressing, very good mastering, the mono mix/mastering is very impressive…recommended!

I had a reissue that was poor sound quality. This is Heaven. The mono mix is way beyond my expectations. The original LP I imagine wouldn't have been recorded to the highest level and my reissue mirrored my expectations.
This ,however, is so much better than I ever thought possible. The treble almost achieves air and the rest of the playback is separated and solid . I didn't think I would ever hear this fantastic music in such detail
It's not audiophile quality but it's the best it will ever sound and it surprised me how good and immersive the sound is.

Am I the only one who feels the tenor sax it too buried in the mono mix?

Mono Disc Review: Wow! Stunning dynamics -incredible sound overall. Very lifelike. Vinyl itself is flat, plays fairly quiet, and no pops, clicks, or distortion noticed. Discs very clean, no blemishes. Tri-fold jacket is nice enough medium card stock, clear imagery. The record sleeves are perhaps wax-lined paper? with no centers (like the cheap paper, but has a slick coating on inside). Tried the mono first after reading preceding reviews -it sounds amazing. Looking forward to the other two discs.

100% percent agree. The mono mix alone is worth the price of ission.

One of the best pressed records I've heard recently. Sounds fantastic. The mono mix is really punchy with a ton of bottom-end bass power.
No crackles, pops or clicks either... super quiet pressing. If more new records were as good as this I'd buy without hesitation... as it is my vinyl purchasing days are more or less drawing to an end.

Yes I agree too. The mono really shines compared to the stereo, it sounds like it was recorded during this decade !
