Super quiet, no pops, nothing but excellent music. Unfortunately my copy came slightly warped but this had no effect on playback whatsoever. The packaging and layout is really awesome from the high gloss gatefold to the original Atlantic Records LP stickers. If it wasn’t for the warping issue I’d give this an easy 10/10 but because of it I’m going to give it an 8/10. -
The master on this is a bit darker/more muddy compared to the Thirdman version. Also, the cover art is a bit pixilated. Still looks OK though. Too bad the Thirdamn version has way too much niose. My copy of the MOV version plays well aside from a few pops in the quiet parts of Lizzy. There's also a very slight warp. The hole is centered. No issue (as mentioned below) on Set Me Straight. -
Have had two separate copies of this that skip in a locked groove at the end of Set Me Straight. Surprised no one else has mentioned this. -
Phenomenally good pressing of this album. I'm listening to "Lizzy" as I type and the vinyl is so completely dead silent, I can virtually hear the air conditioning in the studio. A thing of ugly beauty. -
Quality is perfect. I have listened to this album on a lot of mediums and pressings. I have never experienced it like that( maybe in part of the sound system I have now but this pressing is flawless) -
Compared to my original i would say this one i superior. the music feels more there and alive on this one. the original can be flat at times. -

Amazing album, so heavy at times. I can't believe I'd never heard it before as it's my era.
As usual, MOV killed it with packaging, pressing, and sound. Although I do have a slight warp which isn't normal for an MOV pressing. -
Wonderful quality all around, not only pressing and sound quality but artwork as well. Great pressing.

Edited 3 years agoSuch a fun album! Probably a little outside what I normally listen to, however, there's a heap going on to keep me interested.
Music On Vinyl does a stellar job as always, sounds awesome like I'm listening to them live in a small venue. Discovered so many bands listening to the Melvins :)
