Reviews

    McHomie
A typically raw, loose, occasionally unhinged set of electric Mississippi blues from the folks at Fat Possum. This apparently has not been reissued, unlike quite a few Fat Possum albums from the same era. The vinyl sounds fine, it's a sparse and primitive recording, guitar, vocals and drums are all captured well. My copy was purchased secondhand, and it looks okay visually but plays with several skips on the first few songs of side one. Side two plays with a couple of random pops and one skip.
