I would be surprised if earl palmer or don Randi would playing on this lp even in the dunny , realistically it pretty B grade for the time
-
Judging by most of the reviews of any reissues, this one seems to be the winner. It's the one I have. I did a needledrop and didn't hear any pressing defects or pops in-grained into the vinyl. Glad I just took a chance on their VMP version when I was in the club rather than a cheaper LITA standard at the time.

Monster SSW record! Unfortunately it seems master tapes are lost, so this is a needle drop taken from a copy with occasional heavy groove distortion. A5 is the worst. But if only a few hundred were pressed, well what to do? For the music, there's not a weak moment - this is all killer, no filler!

Interested in getting this release, despite the dreadful name "Vinyl Me, Please." Talk about an idea for a label name that never should have made it out of the bar.
-
should be noted that the obi strip contains a recipe for a cocktail on the inside. did not see it in the photos for this release.

Wow! Despite this not being a AAA lacquer cut, this is the best-sounding version of this I've ever heard. Many thanks to VMP for this reissue -- it's an underheard classic!

Edited 4 years agoFor the most part, sounds really good. Quiet pressing and nice clarity. Looks unbelievably cool. Nice copy for your collection!

Hi! Thinking of getting this. Does anybody know if this being sourced from the original vinyl rather than from the master tapes makes this a digital remaster or is it still analog? I know I don't have much option in of what to choose from for this record, but just wanna do my due diligence in researching it first. Thanks in advance for the help!

This was my very first Vinyl Me Please purchase, and it has exceeded my expectations. Absolutely astounding quality, especially considering the audio material was sourced from somewhat low fidelity original vinyl LP's. The jacket is a very sturdy cardstock, and the 180g LP itself is flat, centered properly, and DEAD quiet. Hardly a trace of surface noise to be found anywhere. LITA did a fantastic job remastering this - don't expect perfection since they clearly explain in the liner notes that there is some sibilance and distortion baked into the original mix, but they really put a lot of effort in to presenting a quality looking and sounding project here. This is vinyl done RIGHT. Get one while you can.
