Everyone says the quality is dodgy, I have an unopened copy and I'm curious as to whether I should find out or leave it sealed. -

Edited 3 years agoEdit: Since I posted my previous review below, I had a better cleaning done and it sounds phenomenal. Love it! Leaving my initial below so others know to get a good clean by one of those vacuum tools.
I am a little disappointed with how much noise, crackles, pops I am getting on side A, especially on the first 1-2 tracks. Track 3 sounds much clearer but that's not saying much. I feel like it should be taken to a professional cleaner as my attempts at cleaning the record have been utterly fruitless. Really, a shame for such a beautiful album. -
Saw this on the Dreamcatalogue site, but i'm worried about how it sounds. Anyone have any input on the quality? -
My pressing sounds pretty bad sadly. The first disc has tons of clicks and annoying hiss here and there. Kinda dissapointing, since the packaging and the way these turned out aesthetically is amazing. -

Edited 5 years agoVery pleasantly surprised with how good this pressing sounds, airy, solemn, dreamy. The nostalgic, organic VHS type sounds are conveyed just as well as the futuristic synths, the canon like waves (For example on C2) just feel too good to be true. Lights off, headphones on, off to 2814-topia.
Edit: After some 'critical' listening, some of the issues here like the crackling on some sides have become more apparent. Still a fair pressing considering the run size, however unfortunate. (5* -> 4*) -
