Maybe the perfect power pop album. I wore this and Rockpile’s “Seconds of Pleasure “ out during the early 80s. And John Hiatt’s Riding With The King.
Buddy Holly would be proud. -
Love this roots rock/power pop masterpiece, with timeless songs and hooks galore. Sounded like a breath of fresh air 40+ years ago and holds up well today. This pressing faithfully reproduces the radio ready and sparkling production, it's very bright, crisp and punchy. My copy has occasional light surface noise.

Bought my VG copy for 2 bucks, great power pop record with country and Beatles tinges for really cheap!
-
Unfortunately this album sounds extremely dated in 2013, but its quality can't be denied. It's a solid performance.
Fans of Elvis Costello will appreciate this.
