The last great Tull album IMO and severely under-rated. Ian's singing is still good at this point.

This is a record on a level comparable to those from the seventies.
Despite the synthesizers appearing on the album, it is still a classic Jethro Tull. I don't know if Jethro Tull has managed to record something better since then?

Pretty sure this album won a grammy for best Heavy Metal album 1982. Even beat Metallica if I right!

Deciphering the calligraphy on the back cover of this release has obviously bamboozled most.!! So would those who have submitted for this release and made mistakes, please go back and change Lain McCraig to Iain McCaig and Jim Gisson to Jim Gibson? I started changing them all but worked out it would take me too long! Happy changing!

Personally this is one of my favourite Tull albums, it has some really catchy songs (Flying Colours, Broadsword and Seal Driver) and some great instrument work. It was the first Jethro Tull album i bought on vinyl and its the album that got me hooked.
