Edited 3 years agoSounds like Nick Oliveri looks like in every photo of him ever, so two thumbs up. First disc is better. I would have preferred the A Drug Problem That Never Existed LP but this popped up for cheap, and I've got the CD of the latter, played on heavy rotation in the hire car on a lads holiday in our early-20s in Spain, doesn't sound like the most suitable thing but it fitted perfectly, we were drunk and stoned 24/7 apart from M. Later on M ended up stealing the object of T's (rather pathetic) crush breaking up the friendship group. T became an airplane captain, married into Maltese aristocracy and steadily acquired a number of increasingly batshit right wing views until finally last year I could speak to him no longer. L was the most basic guy in the group but in retrospect probably the nicest. He delveloped a monster coke addiction after the M-T spat when he started hanging out with some club people, inevitably changing somewhat. Then he found his now-wife, a single mother of two, and turned his back on what his life had become. I've not spoken to him in over a decade despite living in the same town. I'm an unemployed stoner and still listen to Mondo Generator. Bumped into M a couple of years ago and he made it clear that he thinks I'm scum. He's still a middle manager for an electricity company now with marriage, house and kids. Not sure what he was doing with what looked like a "wing man" on a Saturday night in a busy club.
