This is great! Very good quality (artwork and sound). But, IMO, "Dreams the collection" sounds so much better (and includes unedited version of "Promises")
-
Pressing looks and sounds great overall, but on every side, the last few seconds of the last song always has this annoying crackling sound. Does anyone else have this problem?
-
Edited 3 years agoPressing sounds good and packaging is top notch as well but I have one complain, Promises (C1) is an edited version, this is the first time I listen to this specific compilation so I wasn't aware of that in case it was the same with all previous issues of it but what a bummer, probably my fave track from the band and I was happy to have it on vinyl finally since I don't own a LP copy of Bury The Hatchet, just to find that it is the edited video version, why they did it? no idea, but no bueno.

Great press overall.
Confuses one thing, in my gatefold I found a card from "the sound of vinyl" and no RSD sticker on the front (no mention of RSD at all).
Does everyone have such features?
Or is it a standard press that will soon fill up all stores and which has no rarity about the limited edition?? -
This is a great release, the packaging is sublime, they went all out on this, great gatefold and inner sleeves are beautiful, lovely looking clear vinyl, and the most important thing is it sounds great! My only minor issue though is Ridiculous Thoughts being the album version rather than the single edit featured on the original CD release, but I guess it makes sense to include the intro for the start of side B, other than that, great release.

Beautiful release. I was surprised to see the vinyl being clear and not silver (I've seen somewhere written silver in a description). The gatefold and those sleeves are gorgeous, the collage made of all the photographs. Truly great looking vinyl.

Sounds pretty decent to me, but my disc one is a bit dished, why is this happening so much these days? Is there any quality control at these pressing plants. It’s not bad so I think a month between two books and some heavy weights will do the trick, but bloody annoying. Loved the Cranberries, so it’s nice to have this on vinyl. We miss ya Delores, RIP.
