I`m a big fan of Black Hole Sun myself. The tide is high I`m never gonna die.The price aint right for this 7" tribute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though the initial run of Metallica Vinyl Club had its issues (mostly production and shipping issues) I am very satisfied with all the releases. Great value for 4 ‘limited’ 45’s, with some cool content. #3 and #4 my favorites. Waiting on sign up info on year 2….

Personally, this is my favorite of the 4 releases from year 1. As a fan of Metallica, I already have tons of live, demos, etc. I want covers and unreleased rarities. Songs that never made the cut. We will see for year 2.

Edited 3 years agoThe cover art was done by Jeff Ament: bass player for Pearl Jam, longtime friend of Chris Cornell and his former bandmate in Temple of the Dog. It is adapted from the portrait used for the official show poster of the tribute concert where these songs were recorded (as well as the Chris Cornell box set). The performance of All Your Lies is outstanding.

meh, cool i guess. woulda been a little cooler to me if they had played some Soundgarden songs that i knew, never listened to the Ultramega OK record… postcards are an odd addition, couldve done something better than that as well… eh. hopefully itll be a better run next year, the only one i 100% loved was #3
