I love this album but concur with the overall comments: both records were dirty with stains and filled with dust from the paper sleeves. A thorough cleaning, some vacuuming and it sounds a little more balanced. The heavy bass was on the original record. It is a bit overwhelming at first but I’ve never heard this album a different way and I think I wouldn’t have it another way. 🤷♂️ -

I converge with what has been noticed below. Sloppy bass that hides overly compressed midrange and treble. Quite simply a bad pressing. This repress will only serve as a pretext (perhaps valid considering the prices) financial not to run after the original copy. Very disappointed. -
A finely pressed reissue, that will certainly have you snapping your fingers in time to its loud, booming beats. It is also so useful I have found, if you are learning to speak French, as it is all in French and as my mam says, French is the language of love, that will help you, to kiss more beautiful mademoiselles (or monsieurs, if you are preferring!!) -
A very well made reissue. The vinyl is flat and silent (after washing). The overall sound of the original prodction is very bass heavy and a bit muddy. As is this reissue, naturally. Luckily, the lyrics well clear through that – and that's what counts with this lyrical masterpiece. Recommended! -
I agree, bass heavy it is indeed. Sounds pretty poor because of that. Disapointed by the very quiet and compressed MC Solaar - Qui Sème Le Vent Récolte Le Tempo, this one is almost unlistenable. Been waiting a long time for these records to be reissued, and frankly it wasn't worth the wait. -
Am I the only one who thinks the sound is poor? I also have a lot of "pop" on my copy ...
