First heard the instrumental mix on the House Hallucinates compilation. Didn't get to hear the vocal version until years after..
Only just realised he ed away this year. That instrumental mix takes me right back to my walkman days on the top floor of my bus to town. Good memories

The "Instrumental Mix" is labeled with a 7:14 duration. Isn't that wrong?

I never understood really why William Stover did not pursue his journey towards the Pantheon of House & Techno greatness. These exquisite, futuristic synth lines were unique on the Chicago Underground scene (let's not forget, co-written by another important House personage - Lidell Townsell). A true timeless gem that came out in 1987 (and probably made one or two years earlier), but still sounds fresh today.

It's the instrumental one that counts. Atmospheric, deep, soulful early Chi house, also featured in the seminal House Hallucinates compilation.
