If you just want to collect, then proceed with purchasing. If you are one who actually listens to music - just buy a used CD or stream. This is the worst pressing of a record I own. I love HUM and have since I was young. Very disappointing - can’t wait to trade it in.

Edited one year agoYou'd prefer an astronaut, but I'd prefer a pressing that doesn't have pops at the beginning to Stars. This is a really bad time to have pops.
Set up = Thorens 309, Gold Grado and a pair of Paradigm Premier 800s, and the whole LP feels like it's coming out of a boombox with a soiled bedsheet draped over it.
It's particularly painful since Hum's quiet/loud dynamics is what makes Downward is Heavenward and Inlet go off like H-bombs. I am so disappointed with this copy that I actually returned it. It's not even a worth having as a placeholder if it makes me irritated every time I listen to it.
It's just a bad pressing, among the worst I've ever owned. Bummer. -
