Both physical and digital purchases of the album enable access to a free of each track. The website runs a Java applet to the owner, using disc recognition, an iTunes library scan, or the code printed on an access card bundled with certain vinyl copies.
The files are not separate mixes, they are lossy-encoded versions of the standard album tracks. This was originally intended to be an unmixed version of the album at a bitrate of 320 kbps, but due to unknown complications, it was only ever released in this form.
