A beautiful album, pressed on black vinyl, featuring a flat and quiet pair of discs. Highly recommended for fans of the genres. -
Edited 6 months agoFor those of you who, just like me, had bad luck with their clear pressing : I finally replaced my first copy with this standard black version and I'm happy to say that it sounds way better ! My major issue with the clear pressing was a constant hissing sound all through disc 2, which was super disappointing given how many quieter sections the second half of the album has. My black pressing sounds perfect. The mastering and depth of sound are still phenomenal. -
Anyone else hear what appears to be a pressing defect near the end of the track "let it go"? The audio kind of cuts out in an odd way for a couple seconds in two spots. I'm wondering if it's just my copy or it is an issue on multiple copies in the first run of the black vinyl version. It's not dirt or debris, a scratch, or any other visible defect, it seems like it was just part of the pressing in this case. Otherwise it sounds amazing, great packaging, AOTY contender.

Beautiful work , Kelela is that GIRL , and will always be. Such a nostalgic feeling to this project and it doesn't disappoint.
