I love it. I have this one and the MOV pressing. Both are fantastic. In fact, I had this first and only bought the other one because this is one of my all time favs and I wanted to have the best possible pressing. But, both are really great.

Killer pressing of this album, it's great to hear it in a format that isn't over-compressed. So many releases from the 2000s deserve this type of reissue/remaster.

Levi's cut here is, side-by-side, more dynamic and punchy than the cut used for the VMP release - if you missed out on that one and can live with not having colored vinyl, I honestly think this 2023 reissue is the way to go. My speakers are practically walking across the room.

Edited one year agoEverything sits well in the mix on a record that is so heavy, chaotic at times and full of energy. Good dynamics and nice soundstage. I’m glad this was one of the first records I picked up to get into this hobby.

Awesome reissue. Sounds and looks excellent. Been wanting to grab this one forever, so glad they did it justice.

This pressing does this record justice. Everything sits perfectly in the mix, it’s crystal clear with no pops/cracks, and it’s incredibly dynamic. I couldn’t have asked for a better pressing.

I’ve been chasing this album and been trying to get my hands on a copy for years. All my usual haunts never had it. I finally thought the chase had ended when I found one online at Guitar Center about a year ago but the ship date kept getting pushed out month after month after month until I finally cancelled the order. Then last week after a tip from my dad about Walmart having an early black Friday sale on vinyl, I went to browse their selection and my jaw dropped when I saw this there. I couldn’t click add to cart fast enough. I almost didn’t believe it when it arrived at my doorstep today.
And it sounds fantastic! Nice punchy bass without it sounding overwhelming. The pressing is very quiet as well. Very little surface noise and no pops and clicks that I’ve heard. The disks came housed in a poly lined sleeve, which I always appreciate. I swapped them out to black poly lined sleeves though, strictly for aesthetics. A black sleeve just looks better for obvious reasons. Anyway, I’m really impressed with this pressing. I’m so glad it’s a good pressing after all these years trying to secure a copy of it. It would’ve been a major letdown if it sounded like garbage. Very happy listener -
Just picked this up from recordstore.com.. absolutely lovely pressing… surprised so few comments and “haves” 😉
