Damn is this record good! We waited for a long time but it is so worth it. The songs are all a blast to listen to. Peter’s vocals still sounds fantastic! The production is A+++
My favorite record of 2023. My pressing is on point. Glad he spread the record to 4 sides to hold everything together in the groove. Highly recommended! -
Wanted this to be a 5 star review but just couldn’t make it work. I saw the tour featuring this album, which was great. Vinyl is a bit wavy gravy, Gabriel’s vocals shine here but the music seems compressed and not as bright as other PG studio efforts. Better than streaming but I would suggest the CD or FLAC over this. To my ears, vinyl doesn’t do this recording much good. No analog vibe here. The digital versions seem more dynamic and open. No regrets, but this is for the serious PG collector.

Both my bright-side and dark-side Lps play well quiet pressings/ good soundstage. Clear beautiful vocals. Gabriel in top form! My only complaint is I thought the bright mixes would be brighter and the dark side would be much darker. Contrasting there are some noticeable differences in the tone of the mixes, but most are subtle..

Wow. Stellar pressing. Dead quiet. Fantastic separation. And the production and music here may be better than So. And that’s quite a feat. A true masterpiece.
