Absolutely amazing album! Such a hidden gem. The quality of this pressing is really good as well. Flat, clean, perfectly mastered.
On a side note the color is super cool and unique. Like a vibrant, slighty transparent mauve/deep magenta. -
Edited 9 months agoNeedless to say this album is a gem - a one-off effort, elegant and dreamy - trip hop at its best.
Quality-wise : the pressing is surprisingly…bombastic ! That was unexpected and I don’t recall the bass to be that boosted on the original CD version. The - slow - beat is quite a pulse! No surface noise, dead silent - all in all I love it.
The cover and inner sleeve are decent, nothing spectacular. The transparent purple record is a nice touch as one of the highlights is a track called… »Purple ».
This is a hidden trip-hop classic and a bit overlooked album, and this re-release is very well done with great sonics. Well done MOV.
