Vinyl came out the sleeves flat and clean. Cicely cut is great. Vocals loud and clear and the bass is deep and punchy. Great hip hop press! The packaging is a beauty too!
-
Had to flatten both discs but otherwise playback and sound are absolutely killer. Big and punchy. Cicely is seriously improving and Meth & Red are magic.
-
So good! As an owner of the original, I can say this remaster is absolutely on point. Discs were surprisingly clean right out of the sleeves, and showed no signs of warping or other damage. The glossy gatefold definitely stands out and looks fantastic!

Edited 10 months agoVMP is doing audiophile hip hop pressings here. Outstanding stuff. Also the sleeve is beyond quality.

Edited 10 months agoAn absolutely stellar pressing. No cleaning needed, gave it a spin right out the jacket and the sound quality is seamless. No noise, great mix with defined seperation on the mix and master by the great Cicely Balston, packaging is solid, and the pressing looks stellar. Solid all-around and a must-have for any hip-hop collector. Well done on this one, VMP.

This is one of my favorite hip hop albums from high school, so I was pretty excited when this was going to be the Hip Hip ROTM. VMP did this classic a great service. Packaging is awesome per usual with mirror effect. The vinyl is a really cool smoke color. Most importantly, Cicely Balston mastered this to the max. Blast this!
