Edited 2 months agoI can compare it to the FBR 25 anniversary silver edition. Sound wise, I'm more than gladly satisfied. However, the cover and printing artwork is inferior on this release. You can tell the silver edition was using some source files

I was surprised how good this release was! Don't have another pressing to compare against, but I found nothing lacking with this release.

Edited 3 months agoArrived unwarped. Album outer sleeve is a beautiful high quality matte paper material that I haven’t seen before.
The description of this release notes a “fold-out insert” but that’s an understatement. It’s really a huge poster (wider than my body) of the album cover on one side and lyrics on another. It’s not pictured in the listing for some reason.
Listening with my Beyerdynamic 770 Pro X headphones, I could make out the faintest of occasional pops on side A but I’m sure it’s because I was lazy and didn’t clean my copy. Side B had no pops. Sound quality was good otherwise.
Overall very happy with this release. Don’t know why Fueled by Ramen isn’t calling this the 20th anniversary edition but for me it is.

Such a nice pressing! Record is dead flat, which made me really happy, as warped records seem to be the new norm. Sounds great, looks great. The gatefold is of very high quality and the poster-sized fold-out insert is a nice touch. Someone really paid attention to detail here.
Very happy with this! <3
