Edited 4 months agoThe London Monarch 1st US stereo pressing (1V/1V) has exceptional sonics and is noticeably less shrill than the Decca UK 1st stereo pressing (5k/6k). Both 1st pressings have a wide stereo soundstage with the US London version winning by a whisker. The 2017 50th anniversary vinyl remaster has the best instrumental clarity but seems less spacious than the US and UK 1st pressings. The 1967 London Monarch pressing is my personal favorite.
