Bought new vinyl for Stoner Witch. Took it back for a lot of surface noise. They wished me luck. Results: A little less surface noise on one side, same on the other though. Also, some weird, short, scratchy pops in the left channel on the second side (but only a couple of spots). I called the store and told them all was well, and thanks. Why? Because, I now realize it was just either intentionally noisy, because the MELVINS wanted to say "Hey, its vinyl...what do you expect? Or, someone was smoking near the where they made the masters. Whatever.
