Edited 4 months agoIt's nearly two years later and still no digital or CD release of the 2023 release/bonus tracks?

Insanely good album and an insanely good pressing. Vliet's last great album IMO and a great starting point for Beefhart new-starters. Beware that Apes-Ma induces psychosis
-
I prefer this to Doc at the Radar Station, mainly because the first two tracks rival his best work since Lick My Decals.

Edited 6 years agoMy favorite Beefheart album. A good starter album for people that haven’t heard him, much more accessible than Trout Mask Replica. Bobby Mcferrin level whistling by Don on ‘Harry Irene’.
