Holy shit, the fidelity is quite amazing. Copeland’s drums are thumping with good snaps on the snare, nice balance and separation. So much more “in your face” power than any CD I’ve ever heard. It blows away the remastering on the Abby Road reissues I’ve heard! Get this!

Picked this up used recently and I was very pleasantly surprised with the sound - recommended pressing. I also just picked up a 10" adapter for my ultrasonic cleaner but these LPs barely fit with protruding edges - guess it's the old rough-cut as newer 10" records fit in the adapter no problem.

It’s such a pity that they used this format but pressed the discs at 33. It sounds great but would have been even better at 45.
Missed opportunity for sure. -
This pressing sounds pretty good. I've heard most of the pressings of the first two Police albums are pretty flat sounding, and this one isn't really an exception to that. However, the 10" presentation is pretty neat and splits up the album in an interesting way. Would recommend this version.

I bought this a few weeks ago still sealed (with stickers), wanted to give it a first spin yesterday but I noticed that I had the first record 2 times (labels, matrix, etc are all identical). Is this a known issue? Is there someone who can tell me anything about it?
