Hedda Gabler is also a famous play by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen. The lyrics do seem to tie in with the plot of the play too.

Watershed record. Great band! HEDDA GABLER's drummer, Kevin Curry, is a genius. Explosive, but such restraint. Like the precision and power and sheer inventiveness Ansley Dunbar delivered on Lou Reed's "Berlin," Curry does in his own way throughout this whole 1977 EP. How were such performances arrived at? There's so little information about this session, too. A shame, because it's a career high, for all involved.

Hedda gabbler is such a great song! My friend was quite confused who was playing because he only listened to cales experimental stuff. Either way I’m glad I found this out in the wild.
