You like Billy Joel? This album is an all you can eat buffet of hit after hit without any filler and definitely needs a Mofi or MOV updated remastered pressing because this Greatest hits is a classic that needs to be on everyone's turntable and record collection. It might not be (sigh) super quiet but the songs make up for the lack of silence you "might" hear on an OG copy. The music is bold and clear and the midtones are warm. Buy a copy if you find one reasonably priced. You won't regret it!

Billy Joel is Americana. The man has been writing hits for almost five decades. Most of his biggest hits from the 70s and 80s are on this collection. It's hard not to sing along to these classics. This pressing is generally average. It's not particularly engaging nor particularly quiet, but it's not terrible either. It's something you put on to hear the familiar songs, but definitely not one to show off your system. It's a nice alternative to putting on 6-7 different records just to hear the "big songs". If you really want a nice representation of those songs, pick up the Walmart colored vinyl exclusives, most of those sound pretty great. This one is probably best for the casual fans but us Joelheads can still enjoy it too.
