I am usually a positive commentator. But the track buffalo soldier is complete trash. What did they do to it. It is not reggae.

I would think this would be a popular mix for fans of Bob Marley. Completely different versions of Buffalo Solider and No Woman No Cry from later versions. Very cool stuff IMHO

I bought this in 'decent' shape 'because' of the remixes. They were replaced on subsequent CD and vinyl repressings. A nice historic document on what would become multi-platinum selling album. Worth it for Marley completists.

The tunes are, of course, all Marley classics, but this particular pressing just sounds terrible. The mastering level is so low in comparison to other records from the same era. Bummed that I paid full price for a "mint" pressing. I'll probably pitch the vinyl and use the cover in one of those 12x12 album art frames. Seriously, so bad that I don't even want to listen to it. Be warned.

The "remixes" on this record by Eric Thorngren are quite terrible. For instance, No Woman No Cry is ruined with 80s synths. Don't buy this pressing.
