A wonderful album, but unfortunately at the end of the A side on “The Weeping Song” and at the end of the B side on Lucy there is this surface noise and distortion as if there was too much dust on the record, which is not the case. The rest sounds clear. -
I don’t get the other comments, my copy is totally flat and quiet and sounds really great! -
This is a typical modern pressing, lots of surface noise and digital media..avoid this press and just buy the cd, it will sound the same and be without the surface noise ( and probably alot cheaper) -
Wonderful album and one of my favourite albums by nick cave & the bad seeds. Very strong songs and great vibe. -
I got this and unfortunately has a lot of surface noise. Returned and replacement copy is the same, especially noisy on side B :( -
I don't know why but this was the only album out of all the reissues I never saw in a retail store in the u.s. -
A very enjoyable RE, superb sound an perfect pressing. Can't compare to any original, but it can't hardly much be better. Have the same experience with other Mute REs of Cave recordings.
