Tracks 1, 3, 10 to 14 originally appeared on the 1993 release I: Instrumental.
Tracks 15 to 21 originally appeared on the 1983 release Music For Films Volume 2.
Tracks 5 and 8 originally appeared on the 1978 release Music For Films as 'Patrolling Wire Borders' and 'Quartz' respectively.
It appears that when the newly transferred tracks for the master of this album were being compiled, tracks 18 and 20 were mistakenly repeated (the song "Approaching Taidu" was duplicated while the song "Climate Study" was omitted). A new master was prepared and corrected stocks of this album were shipped in the US by the third week of April 2005.
