Excellent sounding reissue. My copy came with no issues and has good dynamics. The album really pulls you along as you listen. I wasn't familiar with this release, but it came my way via the In Sheep's Clothing Record Club (highly recommended)! Really happy to have found this. Keep listening...

Edited one year agoPleasantly surprised with this reissue. Sounds loud, clear, detailed with a quiet and clean vinyl as well. Not sure whether there are different represses or not. Got my copy yesterday and all the identifiers/matrixes and details are the same as in this release.

I must be lucky with my purchase. Nice and flat and barely a pop or click anywhere which is crucial with this type of ambient music. Great mastering with clear instrument separation and a lovely warm tone. As for the music, this is up there with anything the likes of Budd, Hassel and Eno have put out. A real classic in the ambient field. Overall I'm really happy with this edition and for the price it's a no brainer for me.

Edited one year agoHello! So it seems that not every reissued LP has problems with noise, isn’t it? Found one at a local shop and thinking about to buy or not to buy…
UPD: Finally I bought 2015 LP version and it has really clean sound, almost no noise at all -
Please, can someone find out the differences of 2015 reissue and its 2022 repress and add the 2022 version to the database ?!
THANKS ! ! ! -
A beautiful album spoilt by yet another noisy pressing. Loads of surface noise, possibly non fill on this 2022 repress. So frustrating and no affordable CD option either. This wonderful music needs to be presented properly!

this needs a repress so urgently. one of the best, if not THE best ambient LP of all time. flawless, timeless, just stunningly beautiful music.

This is one of the best things I've heard in the past few years, of any genre, bar none. Deeply recommended-
...minor detail: while this new artwork is suitable regarding its musical content, the original graphic was initially what captivated me, resulting in my listening to it in the first place...superior artwork all around and uniquely fitting despite it's seemingly abstract relation to the material. I plan on obtaining the reissue either way...though was simply curious as to 'why the update'?, seems unnecessary- -
Restored and re-mastered from the original tapes comes Gigi Masins much sought after first album Wind. Never commercially released the LP was in fact only given away at a number of small concerts, with many of the remaining copies destroyed during floods in the Venice based musicians house. Quickly becoming seen as something of a landmark ambient album in recent years, Wind' is now lovingly presented again in its entirety. True to its original private issue it is once again being made available through Gigi Masins very own The Bear On The Moon Records.
