Excellent covers cd. Some extraordinary stand-out covers can be found here. The selection of artists for this disc definitely did The Who proud with these efforts. The best of these covers is Pat DiNizio's rendition of "Behind Blue Eyes". Pat outdid himself his "Behind Blue Eyes" is chocked full of heart and soul, it is an actual crime more people have not heard this amazing take on the classic. The Bards rendition of "My Generation" is retro in the best possible show stopping way. Fastball throws down on the very bass-heavy, groove-laded, take on "The Real Me". Fastball's take on the classic becomes very familiar with the repeat button on your cd player almost instantly. The Waco Brothers rockabilly take on "Baba O'Riley" is awesome, think Johnny Cash covering The Who yes pretty rad indeed. This cd is on my list of top 5 cd's you would want to be stuck on a desert island with.
