Edited 3 years agoIf you need to convince someone that digital media are no match for vinyls, this is a good option.
This is one of the most audiophile records I can name.
You might not like the music, and the lyrics in large parts may safely be considered obscure, but it simply is fantastic recording and sound engeneering of interesting and at their time innovative arrangements.
If one wouldn't know when this has been recorded, it'd be impossible to guess how old it actually is. It doesn't sound it's time, actually it sounds up to date.
This record most certainly is not "NDW".
Which, btw, in itself is an artificial category created by the music industry to seize the opportunity to sell its cheaply produced crap with smiley faces and funny vids. While what really happened has been a real creative outburst comparable to Krautrock of the early Seventies, which in contrast is a category applied only later and which has never been commercialised.
I know, I have been there.
