The A BELL IS A CUP material presented here is so much better in these versions that it's mind-blowing. Apparently this was largely recorded live with the audience mixed out. -

Illuminated still sounds very much like a cabaret voltaire/code track...classical voltair bassline. sure h.kirk hasnt been involved? -
This is perhaps one of the best examples on how can a band mix punk, wave and electronics in just one place.
Wire its truly brilliant and deserves a special place in the entire industrial/electronica genre, they were the first to be capable to innovate and dare to experiment with their music and add that enormous ammount of versatility in their creations, from punk to wave, from wave to electronica.
